RRS is Deeply Committed to Sudan

The war in Sudan broke out in April 2023, resulting in widespread violence and displacement making it one of the most severe humanitarian crises in the world today. With c.20 million people facing famine and acute food insecurity, the need for a global and coordinated Humanitarian effort is severe.

The ongoing humanitarian crisis in Sudan is deeply personal to us.

RRS has been operating on-the-ground in Sudan since 2008 and more than half of our staff are of Sudanese origin.

Our primary focus is to provide 24/7 on-the-ground support to humanitarian agencies across all aspects of their operations and to deliver life-saving aid directly to those in need without any discrimination or bias.

Our Current Activities in Sudan

  • Procurement and last-mile delivery of critical relief and medical aid supplies from international locations directly to the most affected areas in Sudan.
  • Last-mile cash distribution to required beneficiaries across the most affected areas of the country.
  • Own and operate keep-cool storage facilities for Pharma and perishable products in Port Sudan.
  • On-the-Ground Project Support services for INGOs.
    • Residential and Office Accommodation.
    • Business Process Outsourcing, including HR Services, Account Management Outsourcing.
    • Managing government permits and regulatory requirements.
    • NGO Program Execution on the ground support.
